Hey there, It took me a moment to let go of summer, but now I'm embracing the change. I find myself organizing, completing projects, and bringing clarity to different areas of my life β and loving every bit of it. As I sit on my veranda, the wind plays with my hair while birds chirp in the tree above and the gentle September sun warms my face. How are you navigating this seasonal transition, Reader? I'm making two exciting changes: Podcast and the Care Circle I've moved 'The Original Medicines Podcast' to a new hosting platform with more creative freedom β and less technical barriers! Same content about healing beyond labels and holistic trauma-informed care, raw conversations...but better organized so I can create more episodes (which I absolutely love doing!). Follow the podcast here. And, I'm (finally) opening the doors to something I've been thinking about since a long time: The Care Circle - Your online sangha for natural mental health and walking the conscious path The Care Circle exists because I believe healing is relational: towards your own inner parts, each oter and the nature. I love offering more integration support (mini courses like Story Medicine) because t works β in your own time, space and way for anyone interested in holistic health, practical tools and steady support. So, besides zoom meetings twice a month (with recordings), you can expect gentle work on dedication, devotion for change management. We will gather every 1st Sunday (English) and 3rd Sunday (Dutch) at 10:30 AM Amsterdam time in Sangha - the online sanctuary space. β This is your Circle if: β You wish some support in between therapy or coaching sessions β You feel a bit alone on your (transition) path β You are too down-to-earth for commercialized spirituality β You're navigating uncertainty, stress, or spiritual emergence β You believe your sensitivity is here to tell you something β You are devoted to your own growth path β You don't have the money for therapy and coaching at the moment β The waiting lists are long for traditional therapy and you want to start β The circle is forming β the very first gathering is September 21st β just 6 days away. We'll be exploring how to create sacred rhythms as we enter autumn's transformative energy. Will you join us?
β Welcome home to the Circle, Love β Anneke πΏ β P.S. Energy transcends words and time zones. My community spreads over many countries, some who speak perfect English and others who trust their hearts to translate. The Space is in English but I offer one online meeting in Dutch for my people in The Netherlands. You belong exactly as you are. |
Guided by mother nature, I support others β especially (wounded) healers β unravelling complexity and developing pathways towards wholeness and connection. My strength is connecting applied yoga philosophy and psychological tools to work with the body and mind for optimal (mental) health. In addition to seeing people in one-on-one and group therapy sessions, me and my team educate all who care β including doctors and other healthcare professionals to create an ecosystem of sustainable solutions for health and wellness, using yoga. Navigating psychiatry for 25 years as RN and being a pioneer in The Netherlands and Europe as a yoga therapist (C-IAYT), I now amplify transformation in this field by connecting with others who are willing to open-up to explore and experience a wider spectrum of possibilities in the field of healing and health. https://www.instagram.com/annekesips/ https://annekesips.com/
email update | Nov 11, 2025 | #33 Dear Reader Throughout my years working in Amsterdamβs acute psychiatry and crisis wards, I encountered countless individuals facing their darkest moments. I also experienced personal crises that shook me to my core. From these experiences, one conclusion became painfully clear: Crisis is here to teach us something. Yet, despite this truth, many of us find ourselves wanting to run from it, fight it, or avoid it. As we learn through the lens of Polyvagal...
email update | Nov 11, 2025 | #33 Hi there, Yesterday, I wrote to you about the emotional whirlwind Iβve been in β saying goodbye to a friend whoβs moving away, seeing my daughter head off on her first school trip, and navigating an intense day of crisis interventions in Amsterdam. And of course, there was that unexpected layer added by speed dating, where I was face-to-face with some of my inner parts in ways I didnβt expect. Today, Reader β I want to talk about something that has been...
email update | Nov 11, 2025 | #33 Dear Reader This past week has been a bit of a whirlwind π β a mix of transitions, goodbyes, and unexpected reflections. Maybe itβs the autumn air, the full moon, or just the natural cycles of life, but everything feels more intense lately. Relationships seem to be at the center of it all for me. I spent a full day in Amsterdam yesterday, visiting some of my therapy clients in their homes. It was an intense day of crisis interventions, real conversations, and...
